About Bagno Elena

Via Posillipo runs along the coast just west of the city centre, and the address at number 14 puts you on the water from eight in the morning — a beach day that starts early and closes at 5:30pm, with no evening service to wait around for. Day beds set the rhythm: you book one, you stay, and the kitchen brings Italian plates and seafood between swims, all in the $$ range rather than the resort pricing the setting might suggest. Music stays low and unhurried, deep house and lounge sets that sit behind conversation instead of driving it. Fridays and Saturdays draw the biggest mix of Neapolitans and Western European visitors, mostly a 25-45 crowd; beachwear is the whole of the dress code. The season runs April to October, and mid-week mornings are the quiet reward.
