Jakubská runs a short walk off Old Town's main squares, which means the room fills with whoever has been walking Staré Město since lunchtime — doors open at noon Monday through Friday, and the crowd rolls in continuously rather than arriving in one late wave. Techno holds the basement, Latin drives its own floor and live music turns up alongside them, so the sound you get depends largely on which staircase you take. Food is served, the range broad rather than specialised, and the $$ band keeps a full night here well within reach. Smart casual covers it; the crowd skews international, with South American and Western European visitors well represented and most guests somewhere between 25 and 45. Saturdays start at 4 PM and run to 4 AM, as do Fridays, with a 3 AM close the rest of the week. Closed Sundays, open year-round.
