Afrohouse and afrobeats do most of the heavy lifting here, pushed loud enough that the floor at 9 Albertus Street stays full, with trance and commercial hits filling the gaps when the room wants something it can sing along to. Monday is, unusually, the busiest night — the club runs midnight to 4am at the top of the week, stretches to 6am on Saturday, and adds early 8pm-to-midnight sessions from Thursday onward, so there are effectively two different crowds passing through most days. VIP booths, bottle service and table seating are available, though the price band stays at the low end, which is part of why the East City crowd keeps coming back. Expect couples, a mix of locals, other African and Western European visitors, and a 25-to-45 door policy. Smart casual is enforced.
