About DND
Deep house and tech house carry the early part of the night at a level that still lets you talk, then hip hop, R&B and EDM push the volume up and the room from lounge mode into full dancing. Doors open at 11:30pm five nights a week, Wednesday through Sunday, and close at 3:30am, with Friday and Saturday drawing the heaviest crowd of young professionals — largely locals rather than visitors, which is unusual for this stretch of Queen Street West. Bottle service and VIP booths anchor the room, though the $$ band keeps it more accessible than the booth model suggests. Smart casual is enforced, and the door skews to a 20-to-25 crowd, above Ontario's 19 minimum. Arriving before midnight is the simplest way to get a look at the space before it fills.
