About Green Light Social
Techno and lounge-leaning chill house set the temperature here: early in the evening the volume sits low enough for conversation across a booth, and by midnight the room has tipped toward the dance floor without ever turning aggressive about it. Floyd Street puts it in the middle of Deep Ellum, so the crowd is largely local — Dallas regulars in the 25-to-45 range, with visitors filtering in on weekends — and the $$ band keeps it approachable even with bottle service and VIP booths available. Saturdays and Sundays open at noon, Wednesday through Friday later, and everything runs to 2 AM year-round; valet takes care of the parking problem Deep Ellum otherwise creates. Smart casual is enforced, which in practice means the effort level rises as Friday and Saturday nights get later. Bring ID: 21 to drink, and the door checks.
