About Papi Steak
Fine dining at the top of the price band is the operating mode here, with table service and bottle service running side by side so a steak dinner slides into something closer to a party as the night goes on. Latin, hip hop and commercial hits keep the volume up, and the room fills with socialites, celebrities and corporate tables — a mix of Miami locals, Americans and Western European visitors on the 700 block of 1st Street in South Beach. Doors open at 6pm daily, closing at 10 or 11 midweek and stretching to midnight on Friday and Saturday, which are the nights to book if you want the full pitch. The dress code is formal, entry is 30-plus, drinking is 21-plus, and valet parking plus private dining and VIP booths are on hand year-round.
