About Piano Bar
Warsaw's weather does nothing to the schedule here — doors open at 5:30pm year-round on Żelazna in Wola, an hour earlier at weekends, so the jazz runs through January just as it does in July. Live sets are the spine of the evening, played to an intimate room that fills out on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, when the Friday and Saturday licence stretches to 4am and midweek closings pull back to midnight or 1am. Asian fusion plates share the tables with cocktails, and both bottle and table service are available, though the $$ band keeps it within reach of a normal night out rather than a splurge. Smart casual is enforced. The crowd skews 25 to 45, a mix of Poles, other Eastern and Western Europeans, and visitors who have found their way over from the centre.
