Doors open at 11am and close at 8pm, which makes this a daytime address above all — you arrive for a long Mediterranean lunch and stay through the afternoon, with the last of the light rather than the small hours marking the end. Fridays through Sundays are when Portals Nous fills up, drawing a Western European and South American crowd in their late twenties to mid forties, socialites and the occasional familiar face among them. The kitchen works a Mediterranean menu, the sound stays at lounge and chilled house level, and table service, bottle service and valet on the Andratx road all point to the $$$$ band. Dress is formal by beach club standards, so leave the swim shorts as swim shorts. Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays; otherwise it runs year-round.
