About Alberoni Beach Club

The kitchen keeps things broad rather than fussy — a varied menu served to daybeds and tables from mid-morning right through to the late evening, with drinks arriving the same way once you've claimed a spot. Doors open at 8:30am every day of the week in season, from April to October, and stay open until 11pm, which makes it as easy to arrive for a slow breakfast as for a sundowner at the far end of the Lido. Deep house and lounge-leaning chill house sit low in the background, never pushing the mood past its vintage, unhurried register. Beachwear is all that's expected, prices sit in the mid range, and the crowd skews to a mid-twenties-to-forties mix of Venetians, Western European regulars and visitors who've made the trip down Strada dei Bagni. Fridays and Saturdays are the busiest.
