About Almyra By the Sea
A 4.5 rating across nearly 200 reviews is unusual for a Mylopotas Beach spot that runs from 7:30am straight through to midnight, seven days a week — and that span is the point here. Mornings and afternoons belong to the day beds, with table service bringing food from a broad, unfussy menu and drinks to the sand; as the light goes, the music sharpens into EDM, techno, trance and deep house and the seating gives way to dancing. Friday through Sunday are the busiest stretches, drawing a mostly touristic crowd of Western Europeans, Australians and a good number of locals, generally in the 25–45 range. Prices sit at the modest end, which is rare for beachfront in the Cyclades, and the dress code never moves beyond casual — swimwear in the day, the same clothes at night. Open May to October only.
