About Club Noir
Doors open at 10pm seven nights a week, but the room doesn't really fill until well after midnight, and on Fridays and Saturdays the licence stretches to 5am rather than the 4am close that applies the rest of the week. Afrobeats and afrohouse drive the floor, with live shows breaking up the night, and the crowd skews to couples and visitors in the 25–45 range — a mix of Amsterdam locals, Western Europeans and a steady UK contingent. Bottle service and VIP booths are there for groups who want to hold ground, though the $$ pricing keeps it accessible by Leidseplein standards. Smart casual is enforced at the door on Lange Leidsedwarsstraat, so leave the trainers and sportswear at the hotel. Thursday through Saturday are the nights that matter; earlier in the week is quieter and easier to walk into.
