May through September is when the place really makes sense — that's the window when Berlin's evenings stay warm enough to spill out onto the terrace above Alexanderstraße, with the Alexanderplatz skyline doing the work no interior can. Doors open Friday and Saturday at 10pm and the room runs deep into Saturday and Sunday mornings, closing at 6am, so the shape of a weekend here is a late arrival and a long stay. The music swings between techno, tech house and deep house and a broader crowd-pleasing lane of hip hop, R&B and 90s and old-school hits, which explains the mix on the floor: young professionals, corporate types after hours, and a healthy share of visitors from across Western Europe and the States. Table service, bottles and VIP booths sit at the upper end of the price scale. Smart casual is enforced, entry is 18-plus.
