Šetalište Svetog Petra runs along the water at the edge of Makarska's old town, and an address on that promenade means the walk in is part of the night — sea air, a slow drift from the seafront bars, then an open-air floor that fills once the restaurants empty. The music leans commercial and house, loud enough to keep the room moving without ever getting obscure, and the crowd skews young, largely 18 to 25, with a strong Western European holiday contingent among the regulars. Bottle service and VIP booths anchor the better positions, shisha keeps tables occupied between rounds, and the $$$ band reflects that table-led model more than the price of a single drink. Smart elegant is enforced rather than suggested. Friday and Saturday are the nights that justify the setup, and the season runs May through October — outside that, the promenade is quiet.
