About Nomad
Plaka Beach at Maragkas is one of the longer, softer stretches of sand on Naxos, and settling in here means committing to the day: doors open at 9am and stay open until 1am, seven days a week from May through October. Day beds are the currency, so most visits start with claiming one and letting the Mediterranean kitchen come to you, plates arriving between swims rather than at fixed mealtimes. Deep house and lounge-leaning chill house run underneath it all, loud enough to give the afternoon a pulse and quiet enough to nap through. Beachwear is the dress code all day and nobody changes for the evening. Fridays and Saturdays draw the biggest mix of holidaymakers and Naxos regulars, mostly in the 25-45 range, with 18 the bar for a drink. Prices sit in the mid band, which for a beach club of this stripe is fair going.
