Lounge and chill house is the register here, kept at a volume that lets a table of six talk across it — the room stays conversational even as the evening tips past midnight. Thirty-six floors up on the Nile Corniche, doors open at 4pm every day of the week and run to 1:30am, which makes the late afternoon and the hours either side of sunset as viable as the small hours. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays draw the fullest rooms, a mix of South American, Western European and Middle Eastern visitors alongside Cairenes, mostly in the 25-45 bracket. Smart casual is enforced, so leave the trainers. VIP booths, bottle service and a varied kitchen cover the table-service end, valet handles the arrival, and the $$ band keeps it more accessible than the address and the altitude might suggest.
