Nydri sits on the eastern coast road between Lefkada town and Vasiliki, and the address here — Epar.Od. Lefkas–Vasilikis — puts you on that stretch where the beach is the whole point of the day. Doors open at 8:30am most mornings and stay open until 1am, which makes it as plausible for a slow Mediterranean breakfast as for a late drink, with day beds, table service and bottles for anyone settling in for the full stretch. Music runs deep and lounge house through the afternoon, tech house and familiar hits as the evening firms up, with live sets in the mix. Beachwear is the dress code all day, prices sit in the mid range, and the crowd skews young, international and holiday-minded — Western Europeans, Australians and Greeks in roughly equal measure. Friday through Sunday are the busy days across a May to October season.
