Doors open at 5pm every day of the year here, which makes 92 Pitt St as viable in a wet July as it is in a humid January — the room works indoors, so the weather outside is somebody else's problem. The music shifts across the evening from jazz and commercial hits into hip hop and deep house, with live sets keeping the earlier hours conversational before the floor fills. Saturdays are the busiest by some distance, and Thursday through Saturday the licence runs to 4am or 5am, so it absorbs both the after-work CBD crowd and whatever comes later.
