Bali's year-round warmth means the doors open at 10am every day of the calendar, and the rhythm here follows the sun rather than the season — long afternoons on the daybeds, then a shift into the evening as house and tech house give way to hip hop and R&B. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are the busy stretch, when closing pushes back to 11pm and the crowd — largely Australian and Western European travellers in their twenties, with a solid local contingent — fills the loungers along Jl. Pura Dalem. The kitchen keeps things international and the price band sits at a comfortable mid-range, with table service on the beds and a bar for everyone else. Beach chic is the expectation, which in Canggu means little more than covering up over swimwear. Entry is 21 and over. Condé Nast Traveller has it at the top of its Bali beach club list.
