About The Savoy

Sauchiehall Street puts the place in the thick of Glasgow's city centre drinking circuit, which means arriving on foot from wherever the night started and rolling out at three in the morning with everyone else. Doors open at 10:30pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday only — the Sunday night slot is unusual and it draws the same crowd as the other two, mostly locals and visitors from elsewhere in the UK, broadly 25 to 45 and out to dance. The music leans on trance and old school hits, so the floor fills with people who know the words. Bottle service and VIP booths are there if you want to hold ground, though the $$ pricing keeps it accessible rather than exclusive. Smart casual is enforced at the door. It runs year-round, and the weekend is the whole of it.
