About Andén Club
Year-round rather than seasonal, the room on Plaza de Uncibay keeps the same rhythm in January as it does in August, opening its doors around 11:30pm and running through to 7am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Reggaeton and Latin drive the floor, with commercial Spanish hits and softer chill-house stretches easing the pace, and the mix pulls a crowd of Málaga locals, South American regulars and visitors in the 25-45 bracket. Sunday is the night that fills first, which tells you something about how the city's centre works — the last dance of the weekend rather than the first. Bottle service and VIP booths are there for groups who want a base, though at a mid-range price band this is not an evening that demands one. Smart casual is enforced at the door, so the trainers-and-shorts approach that works elsewhere in the Centro Histórico won't get you past it.
