Doors open at 6pm every day but Monday, and the evening builds slowly through table service, a kitchen that ranges rather than specialises, and music that moves between lounge and chill house, jazz and Latin. Friday through Sunday brings the fullest rooms, with Saturday running latest at 2:30am; earlier in the week the intimate, vintage feel of the place comes through more clearly. Prices sit in the mid band, dress is smart casual, and the crowd skews 25 to 45 — a mix of Romans, western Europeans and Americans who have done their reading. Open year round.
