About Discoteca Gunilla Club
Paseo de Recoletos runs through Salamanca, one of Madrid's more polished addresses, and the door here doesn't open until midnight — which tells you most of what you need to know about pacing the night. Doors stay open Wednesday through Saturday until 5:30am, with Thursday, Friday and Saturday drawing the heaviest crowds, so the room fills late and stays full. The music tracks the mood of the floor rather than any one genre: tech house and deep house early, commercial hits, reggaeton and old-school throwbacks as the night deepens, all pitched at a young crowd, broadly 18 to 25, mixing Madrid locals with Western European visitors and backpackers passing through. Bottle service and VIP booths are the way to hold ground on a busy Saturday, though at a mid-range price band it's not the most expensive night in the city. Smart casual is enforced at the door. Open year-round.
