About Teatro Kapital
Drinks here run on a bottle-and-booth model — table service and VIP booths spread across the floors, at a $$ band that keeps it within reach of a group splitting a bottle rather than an expense account. Music is divided by level: reggaeton and hip hop on some floors, trance, commercial hits and reggae elsewhere, with a lounge and chill house register for the quieter corners and karaoke for those who want to perform rather than dance. Monday is the busiest night, an oddity that says everything about the crowd — tourists and locals mixed with a strong South American contingent, broadly 25 to 45, drinking age 18. Doors run late, from midnight to 5:30 or 6am at weekends, year-round on Calle de Atocha. Smart casual is enforced at the door.
