About Glass Island
The mix on board skews 25 to 45 — young professionals from around the CBD, visitors doing the harbour for the first time, and a regular local following with strong Middle Eastern and Islander contingents, all sailing from Wharf 1 on Wheat Rd. Sessions run in blocks: Friday evening from 7pm, then Saturday and Sunday split between a 1pm afternoon cruise and a 6pm sunset run that docks just after 10. Deep house and tech house carry the dance floor, with commercial hits pulling in the people who came to sing along, and there's food aboard alongside bottle service and VIP booths if you want a fixed base for the group. Beach chic is the standard — dressed up, but built for sun and open deck. The season runs November to March, prices sit in the mid band, and weekends fill first, so book ahead.
