Bottle service is the organising principle here: VIP booths ring the floor, shisha arrives at the table, and the $$$$ band means a night is planned around a reserved spot rather than a spot near the bar. Music runs techno, tech house and EDM with hip hop in the mix, and the room fills nightly from 9pm through to a 4am close, seven days a week and all year round — though Thursday to Saturday is when Bangla Road pushes the crowd to its limits. That crowd skews international and tourist-heavy, largely 25 to 45, with 20 the minimum drinking age. Dress is smart elegant, which on this street sets it apart from the beer bars either side.
