Șoseaua Nordului 1 puts this on the lakeside edge of Herăstrău, the stretch of Bucharest where the city's going-out crowd migrates once the weather turns, and arriving here means a short drive out from the centre rather than a walk between bars. House sets carry the floor, and the format is built around tables — bottle service and VIP booths, a $$$$ band, and a room that fills with socialites and a familiar celebrity contingent alongside Middle Eastern and Eastern European regulars and plenty of locals. Sunday is the peak, which tells you most of what you need to know: the schedule runs Friday and Saturday from 10pm, then long overnight sessions from midnight through to 6am on Saturday and Sunday. Smart elegant is enforced and the door leans towards a 25-45 crowd, so dress accordingly and book a table if you want a base. Open year-round.
