About La Favela
Latin American and Mediterranean plates come out early, while the doors open at 7pm on Jalan Laksamana Basangkasa and the room still works as a restaurant before the tables clear and the dancing starts. From there it turns into hip hop, R&B, house and commercial hits, with table service, bottles and VIP booths for groups who want a base in the crush. Wednesday through Sunday are the heavy nights, Friday and Saturday running to 4am and the rest to 3am, drawing a young Seminyak mix of backpackers, Australians, Western Europeans and locals mostly in their twenties. Dress is casual, prices sit in the mid range, and the door works to a 21 minimum. It runs year round, so there's no closed season to plan around — just arrive before midnight if you want to eat first.
