About La Palma Beach Club
Daybeds are the currency here — booked out along the Marina Piccola waterfront on Via Mulo, served by a team that runs table service from the first spritz through to whatever the kitchen sends out that afternoon. The food side ranges widely, and the music holds to lounge and chill house, kept at a level that lets a long lunch stretch into the late afternoon without ever becoming a night out proper. Friday through Sunday is when the socialite crowd and the international visitors — largely Western European and South American — fill the loungers, and beach chic is the expectation: swimwear with something over it, nothing that looks like it came off a ferry. The season runs May to October only, the price band sits at the top of the scale, and bottle service is available for those settling in for the day. Book ahead in high summer.
