About Le Red Room
Drinks run on a simple bar-and-bottle format — bottle service and VIP booths are there if you want them, but the $ price band means a night here costs less than the setup suggests. Doors open at 10pm Wednesday through Saturday and run to 3am, with Thursday, Friday and Saturday drawing the heaviest crowds onto a floor that fills fast. The music moves across deep and tech house, techno and EDM, with lounge-leaning house early and old school hits or hip hop surfacing later. The room skews young — a 20-to-25 crowd, plenty of couples, mostly Montrealers with a steady American contingent — and dress is smart casual, so no one is turned away for keeping it simple. Saint-Denis puts it within walking distance of the rest of a downtown night, and it trades year round.
