About Yoko Luna

A 4.3 average across more than 2,300 Google reviews is a strong showing for a room that asks this much of its guests — formal dress, a $$$$ spend, and a 25-to-45 crowd of socialites, young professionals and the occasional recognisable face. Doors on Rue de la Montagne open at 6pm from Thursday, when dinner runs to a civilised 11pm, but Friday through Sunday the kitchen's service slides into a club night that holds until 3am, afrohouse and deep house pushing the tables aside. The menu ranges broadly rather than committing to one tradition, and the service model is built around bottles, VIP booths and tables held for the night. Sunday sitting alongside Friday and Saturday as a peak evening is worth noting — it draws a genuine weekend-long crowd rather than a single big night. Nineteen is the legal drinking age; dress as though you're being looked at, because you are.
