The Kukulcán km 09 stretch of the Hotel Zone puts it right on the sand at Punta Cancún, and the format is what you'd expect: loungers and daybeds out front, VIP booths with bottle and table service behind, and a broad, unfussy menu that covers most appetites without asking you to leave your seat. Doors open at 11am seven days a week, year round, with Friday through Sunday drawing the fullest house — a young international crowd, heavily South American, skewing 18 to 25. Beachwear is the dress code in the literal sense, prices sit in the mid band, and 18 is the drinking minimum.
