Doors open at 10pm on Friday and Saturday and stay open until 3am, and those two nights are the whole week — the rest of it, the place is dark. Arrive at opening and you'll find the room filling slowly; the reggaeton and Latin sets get the floor moving properly closer to midnight, which is when the bottle service and VIP booths along the edges start earning their keep. The $$$$ band and the 25-45 door policy shape a crowd of socialites, South American visitors and tourists who've made the trip out to Punta Cancún on Blvd. Kukulcán, and Smart Elegant is enforced rather than suggested — dress accordingly. It runs year-round, so the same weekend rhythm holds whether you're here in February or August.
