About Medallo Club

Colombian plates and bottle service run side by side here, with VIP booths ringing a floor that fills fast once the reggaeton takes hold around midnight. The music moves between reggaeton, hip hop, reggae and softer lounge house when the room needs a breather, and live shows keep the energy from settling. Doors open at 9pm on Friday and Saturday, 9:30pm on Sunday, and the night runs to 4am on all three — the rest of the week it stays shut, so the weekend carries everything. The crowd skews 25 to 45, largely South American, with a socialite and celebrity element that explains both the smart elegant dress code and the top price band; dress accordingly and expect to spend. Provenza, in El Poblado, puts it within walking distance of most of the city's bars, which is part of why the room turns over the way it does.
