About Montecristo Restaurant

Private dining rooms and VIP booths do a lot of the work here, giving the Rue Ibn Aïcha address a way to absorb a table of ten socialites without disturbing the rest of the floor — and with bottle service, table service and valet at the door, the $$$$ band is felt from the moment you arrive. Middle Eastern plates anchor the evening, shisha extends it, and live music plus lounge and chill-house sets carry the room through the small hours; doors open at 8pm every night of the week and don't close until 5am. Thursday through Saturday bring the fullest crowd, mostly Western European visitors in the 25-to-45 range, and the formal dress code is enforced rather than suggested. Guéliz's newer, more European side of Marrakech suits it, and the year-round schedule means there's no closed season to plan around. Book ahead for the weekend.
