Commercial hits and EDM push the volume up as the afternoon builds, with trance and lounge-leaning house filling the softer stretches either side — by mid-afternoon on a Saturday the pool deck is closer to a nightclub floor than a place to read by the water. Daybeds, VIP booths and bottle service set the shape of the day, and at the top price band a group planning to stay from the 11am open to the 5pm close will be doing it from a reserved table with food coming out across a broad, unfussy menu. Friday through Sunday are the busy stretch, drawing socialites, visitors working the Strip and a strong South American contingent, mostly in the 25-45 range. Beach chic is the standard, so swimwear with something over it rather than anything scruffy. Closed Monday and Tuesday; open the rest of the week, year-round.
