About Phonox
The room skews 25 to 45, mostly Londoners and UK dance-music regulars who know exactly which night they're coming for, with enough visitors in the mix to keep the floor from feeling like a closed circle. Doors open at 11pm on Thursdays and 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays, running to 3am midweek and 4am at the weekend, and those three nights are the whole week — everything else is dark. Techno, trance and deep house carry the floor, and the space is small enough that the crowd reads as one room rather than several. Bottle service and VIP booths exist for groups who want a base, though the $$ band means this is not a night that demands one. Smart casual is enough at the door, 18 to drink, and it runs the same way all year from 418 Brixton Road.
