About The Box
Drinks arrive by the bottle here — service is built around booths and table spend, and at the $$$$ band that's less a choice than the way the room works. Doors open at 11pm Wednesday through Saturday and run to 4am, so nothing much happens before midnight and the late hours carry the weight of the night. The soundtrack moves between trance and softer lounge house, loud enough for a floor that fills with socialites, visitors and a largely Western European crowd in the 25-45 range. Smart elegant is enforced rather than suggested, and given the door on Walker's Court, arriving underdressed is the quickest way to spend the night in Soho instead of inside it. It runs year-round, mid-week peaks included, which makes a Wednesday here busier than most London clubs manage on a Saturday.
