About Sjöstaden Skybar
Hammarby allé runs through Hammarby Sjöstad, the waterside district south of central Stockholm, and being up on a roof here means the long Nordic summer evenings do most of the work — the June-to-August window is when the place makes sense. The kitchen works a Mediterranean and modern Australian line with table service throughout, and the $$ band keeps it closer to a dependable dinner than an occasion. Music stays in the background: deep and lounge house early, commercial hits and 70s and 80s throwbacks as the room fills, which it does Wednesday through Saturday. Smart casual is the expectation and the crowd skews 25 to 45, mostly couples and locals with a steady share of visitors. Doors open at 11:30am on weekdays for lunch, and Friday and Saturday run through to 1am; Sundays close at 11pm.
