About The Lodge Club
Lounge and chill-house sets set the register early in the evening, low enough that conversation carries across the terrace, before commercial hits lift the volume as the night stretches toward the 3am close. The kitchen works a Japanese-Mediterranean line, served at table with private dining available for groups, and the $$ band keeps it closer to a long dinner than a splurge — which explains the mix of Florentine regulars, Western European visitors and Americans who have made the climb up Viale Giuseppe Poggi to Piazzale Michelangelo. Doors open at 7pm every night through the April-to-October season, and Friday and Saturday are when the room fills and holds late. Smart casual is enforced, and the crowd skews 25-45, so it reads more polished than a typical terrace bar. Come early if you want the quieter half of the evening; come after eleven for the other one.
