Kona's weather barely shifts across the year, and neither does the routine here: doors at 5:30pm every night of the week, closing at 10pm, with the same seafood-led kitchen running from January through December on Ka'upulehu Drive. Seafood is the spine of the menu, and the room stays chill and low-lit rather than loud, with lounge and chill house kept at conversation level — the kind of pacing that suits a table of two more than a party of ten. Private dining is available, service is at table, and valet handles the arrival, all of which fits the $$$$ band and the formal dress code, so plan to change out of resort wear before dinner. Friday and Saturday draw the heaviest bookings, filled largely with visitors alongside mainland, Asian and local diners, most of them in the 25-45 range. Bar service requires 21.
