Lounge and chill house sets the tone here, kept low enough that conversation carries across the room, though the volume creeps up on Friday and Saturday nights when commercial hits and the occasional techno track push things later — those are the two nights the bar runs to 1:30am rather than midnight. Table service is the model, the kitchen covers a broad menu, and the $$$ band reflects a hotel bar on Spuistraat in the Centrum where cocktails are treated seriously. Doors open at 11:30am from Thursday through Sunday, so an afternoon drink is as viable as an evening one, while Monday to Wednesday is a 5pm start.
