Doors open at 10pm every night of the week and stay open until 4:30am, which in practice means arriving late — the floors don't fill until well after midnight, and the last hours run long past the point where Tokyo's trains have stopped. Thursday through Saturday are the nights that matter, with techno, house, EDM and hip hop keeping the rooms busy across the upper floors of a Shinjuku building. Bottle service and VIP booths are available for groups who want a base rather than a spot on the floor, and the $$ band keeps it accessible by central Tokyo standards. Smart casual is enough to get in, the crowd skews mid-twenties to mid-forties and mixes locals with visitors from Europe and across Asia, and the minimum drinking age is 20. Year-round, seven nights a week.
