About Two Rooms

Kita-Aoyama sits at the smart end of Omotesando, and a fifth-floor address here means you arrive through the neighbourhood's boutique-lined streets and end up above them, which sets the tone before you've ordered. Doors open at 11:30am daily, so the room works as a long lunch, an afternoon on the terrace and a late one in equal measure — Friday and Saturday run to 3am, the rest of the week to 2am. Fine dining anchors it, with private dining, table service and bottle service in the VIP booths, all pitched at the upper-mid end of Tokyo pricing. Lounge and chill house keep the volume conversational, occasionally giving way to live music. Smart casual is enforced, the door is 30-plus, and weekends draw a mix of Tokyo socialites, regulars and visitors.
