About Baoli Beach
From May through October the day runs long here, starting with daybeds claimed early on the sand at 50 Boulevard de la Croisette and drifting through lunch into a lounge and chill-house evening without anyone having to move. French cooking anchors the table service, and the VIP booths and bottle service make the pricing self-explanatory — this sits firmly in the top band, and the crowd of largely Western European visitors, mostly between their mid-twenties and mid-forties, arrives expecting that. Friday through Sunday are the days it fills, so a reservation matters more the closer you get to the weekend. Beachwear is the accepted register, though on the Croisette that tends to mean the polished version rather than whatever survived the morning swim. Drinks are served from 18. Come for the late afternoon, when the sun drops and the music firms up.
