About Chez Fouad
Lounge and chill house sets run low enough here that conversation carries over them, which is the point on a stretch of Anfeh coast where the water does most of the work. Days start at 11am and stretch to midnight, seven days a week through the May-to-October season, so a visit can be a long one: a day bed, table service that keeps the shisha coming, and a lunch of seafood, Lebanese mezze and Mediterranean plates that slides into an evening without anyone having to change. Beachwear is the standard throughout — nothing about the room asks you to dress up. Friday through Sunday brings the heaviest traffic, with a noticeable share of Western European visitors among the tourists, and the crowd skews broadly adult rather than young. Prices sit in the mid band, which for a full afternoon by the water in northern Lebanon is fair going.
