Doors open at 12:30 every day but Monday and Tuesday, and the closing hour tells you what kind of afternoon you're in for: 6pm midweek and Sunday, 8pm on Friday, and 11pm on Saturday, when the day stretches properly into the evening. Daybeds and table service set the pace across the sand at São João da Caparica, with deep house and lounge-leaning chill house kept at a level that doesn't compete with the Atlantic. The kitchen keeps things broad rather than specialised, and the $$ band means a long lunch and a few rounds won't require much planning.
Beachwear is all the dress code asks for. Friday and Saturday draw the biggest crowd — a young mix of Lisbon locals and visitors, 18 and over — and the season runs April through October, so an afternoon here is a summer proposition booked around the sun.
