Daybeds are the currency here — claimed early, held all day, and served from the same table-service operation that handles bottles once the afternoon stretches on. Doors open at 11am and stay open until 10pm every day of the week, year-round, which makes the place as workable for a long lunch off the Gallura coast as it is for a drawn-out sunset. The kitchen keeps its range broad rather than tying itself to one tradition, and the soundtrack runs lounge and chill house through the day with jazz filling the slower, later hours and live sets adding to it. Friday through Sunday brings the fullest crowd, a mix of Sardinian locals, Western Europeans and Middle Eastern visitors mostly in the 25-45 bracket. Beachwear is entirely acceptable, though the $$$ band and the Porto Cervo end of the island set expectations accordingly.
