Daybeds are the currency here, booked with bottle and table service attached, and the kitchen works a Mediterranean and French menu that carries through lunch into the late afternoon, with private dining available for groups who want a table set apart. Deep house and loungier chill-house keep the volume conversational until the champagne parades lift it. Friday through Sunday draws the heaviest crowd — socialites, holidaying Western Europeans, Middle Eastern visitors and a local contingent, mostly between 25 and 45. Beachwear is the dress code, but the $$$$ band means a day here is planned rather than stumbled into.
