Only Fridays and Saturdays are open, which concentrates the whole week into two nights on Conventstraße in Eilbek, a residential stretch of eastern Hamburg that gives little away from the street. Music moves between hip-hop, 90s throwbacks and lounge-leaning house, and the room fills with a mid-twenties to mid-forties crowd of local socialites and young professionals, with a Western European contingent alongside them. Smart elegant is enforced at the door, so trainers and casual jackets are a risk worth avoiding. Prices sit in the upper band, particularly once a booth is involved, and the club runs the same way year-round.
