Days here run noon to 8pm, Wednesday through Sunday, from April into October, so the rhythm is lunch, an afternoon on a daybed and a drink as the light softens rather than anything that carries into the night. Deep house and lounge sets sit low under the conversation; the kitchen is broad rather than tied to one cuisine, and bottle and table service on the beds put this firmly in the $$$ bracket. Friday through Sunday are the days to book, when a mostly 25-to-45 crowd of socialites, Marbella regulars and British and Western European visitors fills the loungers. Beach chic is the standard — swimwear plus something considered over it.
