About La Cabane
Calle Jabalí runs down through Urbanización Los Monteros to the sand east of Marbella town, which means the approach is residential and quiet — valet at the gate, then the beach, with none of the passing foot traffic of the port. Days here run noon to 8pm, Wednesday through Sunday, from April into October, so the rhythm is lunch, an afternoon on a daybed and a drink as the light softens rather than anything that carries into the night. Deep house and lounge sets sit low under the conversation; the kitchen is broad rather than tied to one cuisine, and bottle and table service on the beds put this firmly in the $$$ bracket. Friday through Sunday are the days to book, when a mostly 25-to-45 crowd of socialites, Marbella regulars and British and Western European visitors fills the loungers. Beach chic is the standard — swimwear plus something considered over it.
